Cora Crimson is a figurative painter who uses portraiture and carefully designed scenes to illustrate a variety of darkly inspired narratives. Influenced by an academic background in mathematics, her artistic methods are logically structured, skillful, and deliberate. Her work is characterized by the use of dramatic shadow, elements of nature, gesture, and dark symbolism. With an appreciation for introspection and the cerebral experience, Cora’s work explores the outward expression of internal conflict through imagery that is both surreal and realistic.
Cora’s work has been exhibited internationally, and has been featured by publications such as Yay! LA Magazine, and Pacific San Diego Magazine. She is also a member of The Rabbit Hole Artist Collective, and a contributing artist for 78 Tarot.
